My Journey

The greatest gift in my life has been my children and grandchildren. They have brought great clarity and focus to me that I never knew existed and I love being a mother and a grandmother.

My journey started in St. Louis where I was born and raised. I have been married to Bob Stuckey for nine years. I have three children who are grown and have families of their own. In the last two years, I have been blessed with three grandchildren. The Lizzie Blitz line has always been about family because that is what has always given me inspiration in my designs and creations.

Lizzie Blitz began in 1982 after the birth of my third child, Ryan. I made most of his clothes and when people began complimenting Ryan’s outfits, I decided to make it a brand. It was perfect because I could stay at home with my children and still make an income designing and selling my clothes. I created children’s clothes and decided to call the brand Lizzie Blitz. The name came from my childhood when my mom gave me the nickname because I was her cute little girl! I sold Lizzie Blitz clothes at Arts and Craft Fairs and Church Bazaars. Business was great and customers really liked my designs. I sold wholesale and also had a kiosk at St. Louis Union Station. Shortly after I started Lizzie Blitz, my marriage unfortunately ended. I continued doing Lizzie Blitz for 5 years until my youngest son, Ryan, started kindergarten. It was then that I had to greatly cut back on the production of Lizzie Blitz. As a single mom raising three children I needed financial security and benefits. I worked for the government as a secretary for thirty years, but still kept Lizzie Blitz going part time, doing silk screen designs. I have recently retired and decided now is the time to unveil Lizzie Blitz online! My primary concern is to create a quality selection of products that focuses on learning while remaining stylish and fun.

Over the years, I have made and sold many different products and I hope to have them available to you as I continue to grow. Right now, my latest creation is the “Lizzie Blitz Learning Line Tees for Tots” I have many other Lizzie Blitz Learning Line Tees on the drawing board that you will be able to purchase, through my website, in the near future.

I hope you enjoy dressing your little one in Lizzie Blitz as much as I have enjoyed designing for them. My business is all about family and children as you will see in my upcoming product lines.
